Remember, no one has the time to read the entire text to collect information. They need highlighted points supported by figures and statistics (if possible).
Layout
A poor layout will make your pages unreadable; visitors will simply switch over to another website. some of the major detractors that are responsible for substantial loss of traffic are small texts, unreadable fonts, color combination that are irritable to the eyes, large and heavy-to-load graphic files, multiple blinking banners, complex navigation, never-ending animation sequences, etc.
