Updating a Few Functionalities on an Existing Site

www.myareaenergy.com

Client Brief:

The client approached us with a requirement of updating few additional functionalities on his existing site.

Our Endeavor:

The MyAreaEnergy.com community provides a forum where customers can educate each other about the quality of services, their rates, and kilowatt-hours (KWH) of power available from the various ESCOs. We have implemented a user registration process in the site using normal sign-up system, while we have also facilitated the sign-in system with Facebook credentials.

Our developers have also implemented the functionality for the admin of the site to export Facebook “likes” data in CSV format. We have implemented “company search” functionality where customer can search companies either by name or state or even zip codes. We have also implemented the functionality to educate other customers, review and post the rates of energy providers through forum.

Additionally, we have...

  • Implemented SSL Certificate for all pages.

  • Developed a section for the admin to manage states for deregulation of natural gas and electricity, and displayed list of states with status of deregulation in frontend.

  • Enabled the admin to manage CMS pages from the backend panel.

Technology/Platform:

PHP
AJAX
jQuery

Application:

Website Maintenance
