Project Goal

The main goal of the project was to optimize Dabur’s accounts process system using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to increase efficiency, improve processing speed, and enhance reliability.

Dabur’s existing RPA system had issues with low success rates and pending tasks, which hindered smooth operations. We were tasked with enhancing the RPA framework to address these challenges and improve its performance.

The goal was to streamline the invoice extraction from SAP, automate data processing, and reduce manual tasks. The system needed to handle diverse invoice formats, including multi-currency invoices, while ensuring scalability and integration with Dabur’s infrastructure. The overall aim was to create a more efficient and reliable automation system.

The major challenge we faced was managing diverse invoice formats from both domestic and international vendors, including multi-currency invoices. We used ABBYY OCR to train the system for accurate data extraction, followed by UiPath BOTs for validation and SAP entry.
