The client approached us to automate their sales order process by reducing manual effort.
The client asked us to automate the process of creating sales orders because doing it manually took too much time and effort.
We built an automation system using Microsoft Power Automate Desktop (RPA tool), MS SQL, and SAP BYD. Our team made the process simpler and reduced repeated work, so handling sales orders became faster.
During the project, we faced a challenge because the input file usually needed an expensive premium license in Power Automate. To save the client money, we used MS SQL as the database instead. This allowed the same work to be done without buying the license.
As a result, the client no longer needs to spend hours on repetitive sales order entry. The process now runs faster, with fewer errors, saves money, and allows their staff to focus on other important business work.
