The client asked us to create a web application to make it easier for their electronics industry to manage new product setup requests in stores. They wanted project coordinators to quickly raise a request whenever a new electronic item had to be installed at any store location. The goal was to help store managers and senior staff easily track and manage these requests from start to finish.
We built a custom web application using SharePoint Online to help the client manage product deployment requests more efficiently. The aim was to reduce manual work and bring the entire process into one system that guides users step by step. We worked within the client’s Microsoft 365 setup and used tools like SharePoint Online, Microsoft Lists, and Power Automate.
We added a smart form functionality that updates based on who is filling it out and what stage the request is in. This means users only see the sections they need to complete. Once a request is submitted, it automatically goes to the right person for approval. We also set up email alerts to notify the right people at each stage. Every update is tracked so nothing gets missed. Admins can adjust form settings, control who can view or edit certain fields, and monitor all requests from a simple dashboard. Once a request is approved, the form becomes read-only to prevent any changes.
The system runs smoothly within the client’s existing Microsoft 365 tools, without needing any extra software. It has helped the client save time, reduce errors, and better manage how product deployment requests are handled. Everything is now in one place, easy to use, and works well for both coordinators and senior staff.
