The client approached us with an innovative idea to develop a mobile app for the gay community. They app will work as a social networking tool and can be used on iPhones, iPads and Android platforms.
Furr, that’s what we call it, is an app we have developed, which can be used as a networking tool by gays. In the simplest terms, using this app, a user can create his profile and connect with other registered users. To sort their search, users can make use of the search facility available on the app. They can send friend request, share images and play games on the app. There is button called “Meat” which actually simulates like a game. This is an animated section having 5 model pictures allowing users to get them nude. This was one of the most challenging parts. Here we had to simulate a nudity game in which user will un-cloth model picture. For this we have used quartz core to animate the images.
We have designed an icon of the application that depicts the sense that it's a gay app. We have added a little animation on the splash screen. At the very first launch of the application, it fetches all the registered gay profiles available and show them in tile view with user image with their status (online or offline). The search functionality simplifies the act of finding profiles of a particular user. Users are also enjoying an option to find gay users in nearby location. Users’ last check-in location becomes his current location. For providing check-in location functionality we have used Google Places API.

Meat Button: Clicking on the Meat button, users are redirected to a mini-game of nuding men. Guest users can only play the "Lite" version where they can play the game with only one animated character. On the contrary, paid users can play the game with 5 models. The game comes with multiple images of the models allowing users to get them undressed frame by frame.
Meet Button: By tapping on the meet button a sub screen appears showing all members list registered with the application.
Search Users: Registered users can use the search functionality to search for other registered users of a locality.
Dr Pec Button: This button allows the users to send a query to the admin.
