Development of a Blackberry Powered App using GAPI Web Services

Client Brief

Bambisa approached us with a requirement to develop a Blackberry application using WebWorks along with GAPI web services connected to their existing database. The client already had an application built on another platform and wanted to expand its availability for Blackberry users. Their main goal was to maintain consistency in performance and interface while integrating push notification functionality. The web service and design components were shared by the client for smooth integration and compatibility.

Our Endeavor

Our team worked on converting the existing PhoneGap application to a fully functional Blackberry version using the WebWorks platform. The transition involved adapting the existing functionalities to align with Blackberry’s framework without altering the original workflow. We paid close attention to maintaining the look and feel of the previous version while optimizing it for Blackberry devices.

We integrated GAPI web services to establish a stable connection between the application and the client’s existing database.
