CakePHP Website for Media 'MentorcliQ' - Career Mentoring Services

MentorcliQ is the world's first career mentoring service using video chat. The site allows users to quickly choose from hundreds of mentors to help them with their career monitoring. Users can schedule a session and conduct a video chat session.

The mentors are having their profiles where they provide a basic resume, price, and availability. End users can also create profiles similar to the mentor profiles with a basic resume and information about themselves. End users can view a mentor's profile, schedule an appointment, submit payment, and conduct a meeting via video chat.

To facilitate the project with all the features and functionalities it required, our developers have used PHP and MySQL. The site allows mentors to request for registration, create profile, upload video to demonstrate their experience, list their areas of expertise, etc. End users can view mentors, search for mentors by skills, view calendars of mentors to view their availability and thereafter pay an online fee to book a session. Moreover, users can seek a refund if they are dissatisfied with a session. The ability to offer session based video conferencing is accomplished using OpenTok, a third party tool. A comprehensive admin panel will help the admin manage mentors, users, fees, refunds etc.
