A Community Based Website & an iPhone App

myVIP.com is the latest application that creates an exclusive community for merchants and their VIP customers. It combines the power of social marketing and advanced technology bringing together VIP customers and merchants to deliver timely and relevant information to their target customers. The client wanted us to design the website in a way so that it would visually exude a feeling of elite-ness, exclusivity,and allure. Keeping all the requirements in mind we have crafted a design highlighting the main features of the site as well as the that would project the motive and target group of the site as the app both. The design is professional and user-friendly and subtly portrays the client's business. We have developed the proposed functionality using Magento Community edition as most of the features were there.

The native iPhone app is usable by merchants as well as customers. We have added the referral functionality to the enable the customers to invite other customers and as and when they join they will get rewarded with a fixed amount as set by the admin. The app portrays a few events that can be created by the users (merchants and customers) and they can invite other members to join the event. We have also added automatic notification system to prompt the users about an upcoming event.

Merchants need to register with the site and for that they need to pay a fee and be able to submit/add their product/services details, manage their profile/products, add event details, set schedules, send promotion codes and offer discounts for products/services to VIP customers. On the other hand VIP customers would be able to register via the application, login, manage their account, view products/services, browse through categories, view products/services detailed description, images, prices, enter promotional codes, view discount and make payment to purchase products. Customers can also earn reward points by referring the site and the app to a friend, or by purchasing a product/services and can redeem the points at the time of purchasing those products/services.
