iPhone Mobile App to Find Local Merchants By Zip Code 'Love my locals'

The app has been designed and developed from scratch at our end. Love My Locals is an iPhone that enables the customers to find merchants within their locality of any product or services that they are looking for. The application has been made for iPhone 4 and iOS 5.0 but later on was made compatible with iPhone 5 and iOS 6.0. This is a single application with two types of user access.

The merchant can register to the app by buying a subscription. In order to implement the subscription we have used 'In App Purchase' feature of Apple. Subscriptions can be purchased for one year, which can be renewed in any later instances. After registering, merchants can post messages about their business or can post job opportunities as well. Merchant can tag their business on maps so that they are easily searchable.

Customers can register with the app for free. No subscription is required for them to view the listed businesses. Customers can view the business within 10 KM/6 miles radius. They can also search the business by name, address and zip-code. The app is also usable even if they are Traveling. The app automatically locates user position, which help them to find the local businesses. The integrated Google map makes the tasks even more easy. Customers can add any business/merchant into their favorite list so that they can be refer them later easily.

The app is manageable by an admin, who can perform the following tasks:

• Can view/edit/delete registered merchants whenever necessary.

• Can view the transaction reports of the merchant payments.

• Can manage registered customers.

• Can download registered merchants, merchant payment and registered customer reports in CSV/XLS format.
