Pride Finder - iPhone App Development

Client Brief

The project scope entails developing an iPhone application allowing users to search for events by city, country, month and event name, sort events and can view event listings. This application was need to facilitate a way to find some of the best times and raging parties around the word. It should provide up to date list of registered events with locations where the event is going on with date/time etc. Users were supposed to be able to search/filter the events depending upon cities/countries/months/ events etc.

Our Endeavor

• Users can download application and click on application icon to view the loading screen.
• Loading screen – Users can view basic splash page with images.
• Display of Ads - User would be able to view static ads and country images which will random chosen at every launch.
• Some images would be stored locally in the application. Whenever the app is launched, one of the stored images would be displayed at random and the next image to be displayed would be downloaded in the background at the same time. The image downloaded would be displayed at the next launch of the application.
• Home Screen: This is the main screen of the app and would allow users to search for events.
• Search: User would be able to search for events by

• Search by Month - Users would be provided with a full list of months.
  • User can select the month and a list of events with a current time and date would be shown.
  • Users would be able to change the month.
  • Users would be able to push up/down to view all dates of events.
  • User would select an event and would be redirected to the Safari browser and website with the event details would get opened.
  • Users would be able to change their sort at any time to - City, Country or Event.

• Search by City - Users will be able to view a full list of cities and can select the city to view a list of events.
  • Events listing would be displayed with a time and date.
  • User would select an event and would be redirected to the Safari browser and a website would get opened showing the event details.

• Search by Country - Users would be able to view a full list of predefined countries and can select the country to view the event listings.
  • Event listings would be displayed with a current date and time
  • Country that is currently being viewed would be shown at the top of the page.
  • Users would be able to change the country by clicking the change button.
  • User would select an event from the list and would click on Go Button and would be redirected to the Safari browser and a website would get opened showing the event details.
  • Users would be able to change their sort at any time to - City, Month or Event.

• Search by Event - Users will be able to select the event from the listed events.
  • Event listings would be displayed with a current date and time
  • The event that is currently being viewed would be shown at the top of the page.
  • Users would be able to change the event type.
  • User would select an event from the list and would click on Go Button and would be redirected to the Safari browser and a website would get opened showing the event details.
  • Users would be able to change their sort at any time to - City, Country or Month.

• Search by RageNow (Current events): Users would be able to view list of events at the current date and time.
  • User would select an event from the list and would click on Go Button and would be redirected to the Safari browser and a website would get opened showing the event details.
  • Users would be able to change their sort at any time to - City, Country, Event or Month.
