A Magento Powered eCommerce Website for Customized Tire-Covers

Client Brief

The client wanted us to redevelop his website using Magento 1.8.x. He also wanted us to develop and integrate an HTML5 based customization tool that allows users to design custom tire/window/jeep top covers.

Our Endeavor

We have developed the website with help of Magento 1.8.x. Furthermore, we have also developed & integrated an HTML5 based customization tool using Ajax which users can design to customize tire covers, Jeep top mask, and window. The user will be also able to upload images, add text, add color, font, style, preview the design and save it to order covers as per their need. We also added suitable functionality to allow admin do following -
  • Login to the backend with a username and password.
  • Change their password.
  • Retrieve their forgotten password.
  • Add/edit/delete the product categories.
  • Add/edit/delete the product information (name, price, image, description of product)
  • Add/delete, activate/deactivate coupon codes
  • Add/view/edit/delete the registered users.
  • View reports on the orders by category, product, user and by discount code.
  • Add/delete the list of images to be displayed on the image slideshow on the homepage in the right panel.
  • View the list of users subscribed to newsletters and can send the periodic newsletter in a predefined template.
  • Add/edit/delete the content of the static informative pages of the website.
