A Magento Site with Amazon Webstore Affiliated Extensions

Client Brief

The client came to us with a requirement of replicating an existing site like gifts.com. He wanted us to develop the site into Magento and integrate few Amazon Webstore affiliated extensions.

Our Endeavor

We have created an online store inspired from the existing store Gifts.com using Magento 1.7. The site has been developed in Magento and offers similar products as available on the mother site. Before developing the site, we have done a thorough analysis of the Amazon’s affiliate info since many of the products will come from Amazon. We have integrated the products seamlessly in the site.

The theme was provided by the client and we have integrated the same. Alongside, we have also integrated a prominent Amazon affiliated extension known as “Amazon Products Manager”. This extension has helped the site to be helped the site to easily load and manage products from any Amazon store. The admin of the site just need to locate the desired product and click on load. The extension then loads description, images, prices, and stocks automatically. Synchronize data using cron jobs in order to keep data accurate and current is also possible with the help of this extension.

With the help of the extension the admin of the site also enjoys the following features:

• Filter by - Categories- Keywords- Availability- Advanced parameters loaded specifically for the selected Amazon category- ASIN (multiple values comma separated).
• Possibility to copy Amazon’s catalog structure.
• Possibility to select Magento Root catalog and import catalog.
• Enter associate tags.
• Flexible import settings.
• Flexible synchronization settings.
