Two Scoops approached us with a requirement to develop an online toy store using Magento. Their main objective was to create a user-friendly eCommerce platform where products could be managed efficiently through integration with their existing ERP system, Pronto. The client wanted a visually appealing design, which they provided in the form of a theme and PSD files. They also wanted the website to handle a large product catalog smoothly and make online shopping easy for customers. The project required precise alignment between the website design, functionality, and ERP data synchronization to provide accurate product details and inventory updates.
We developed the Magento-based toy website to connect directly with the client’s ERP software, Pronto, allowing real-time data exchange for products, pricing, and stock updates. This helped maintain consistency between the online store and the backend system. Our team began by analyzing the provided theme and PSD files to align the front-end layout with Magento’s structure and functionality.
After converting the PSDs into HTML, we integrated them with Magento, maintaining the same look and feel that the client expected. We focused on creating an intuitive design that made browsing and purchasing simple for users while keeping the interface aligned with the client’s brand theme. The integration process required close coordination between front-end design and back-end data flow.
The ERP integration was carefully implemented so that every change in the Pronto system would automatically reflect on the website without manual intervention. This helped the client manage their product listings, inventory, and pricing updates more efficiently, saving time and effort in everyday operations.
We also worked on optimizing the website performance to handle multiple product categories and large images without affecting speed. Magento extensions were customized to support smooth data imports and synchronization with the ERP system.
Our team used PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and jQuery to handle the core functionalities and dynamic elements of the site. Special attention was given to the checkout flow and payment integration to make the buying process simple and secure for customers.
During development, we carried out multiple testing phases to identify and fix any compatibility or functional issues. This helped maintain consistency across various browsers and devices, improving the overall user experience.
