Enhancing Garden Ware: A Magento Based Website

Garden Ware is an e-store offering highest quality gardening equipment and products including tools, garden shoes and clothing. Reducing the page loading time was our main task and we have done that by using minified version of JavaScript and CSS; however, we have thought of analyzing the website to look for defect that need to be attained immediately.
We have found that the website is dealing with loads of products, but the database is weak. So we have implemented a script which can create automatic backup of the files and database.

Client was having a 50GB shared server which was overused due to automatic backups taken from Cpanel. So we have also added a script which can send him an email when the total used space on server exceeds 40 GB; and also remove the automatic backup setting as we were building the backup script. We have created the automatic backup script which takes the backup every next day. The backup includes the files and the database. It excludes the backup folder and other not required folder and files. Further to this we have also created a shell script which reads the complete size of the server using root access.

Additionally, we have enabled leverage browser caching and have applied various steps for optimizing the performance of the website. Along with this, we have redesigned the homepage of the website to impart a better look and feel among users. We have also integrated various social media functionalities such as share with Facebook, twitter, etc.
