Magento Website Upgradation for Jewelry Industry in USA - LoveWeddingBands

Client Brief

LoveWeddingBands is a popular jewelry brand in USA. The brand offers a wide collection of diamond jewelry, engagement rings, custom designed wedding jewelry, and much more via eCommerce website. The client wanted us to upgrade the existing website from Magento 1 to Magento 2 and enhance various features.

Our Endeavor

The challenge for our Magento developers was to upgrade the existing jewelry eCommerce website from Magento 1 to Magento 2 as database and coding of both the versions were totally different. Our team successfully created the Magento 2 website along with the following features:

• We added various attributes to the product listing page, i.e. color, material, stones, and purity
• We implemented the price calculation functionality based on the purity of the jewelry
• We displayed product information on the detailed page based on the purity selection
• Customer reviews functionality
• Delivery & returns
• Recently viewed products
• We created a module “Input products” that allows the admin to import the complete product data category wise
• Also, we implemented the custom script to update the parent product price

 

Additionally, our team created an import module as well as made necessary changes in the category and shopping cart. Also, our developers integrated authorized.net payment gateway. Post fixing a few bugs/ errors, we delivered the website on time.
