Client Brief:
The client approached us with his online store RangeHoodStore.com, which was been developed using Magento open source technology. This is an online store selling kitchen ventilation products. The client wanted us to revamp the site and modify to make it a lot more user friendly.
Our Endeavor:
Our designers have provided the website a more professional look and have incorporated enticing product images. We have also designed an animated home page banner and incorporated that there. A good balance of subtle and bright eye catchy colors has been ensured. The entire website was designed in such a way that users can browse the products through the website with ease way. We have created a Magento theme and integrated that with the site.
Overall the following functionalities have been implemented:
Site load time was a major issue of this site. We have analyzed the issue and have worked on that to speed up the page load time, and now it’s working fine. We have also upgraded the site into Magento’s latest version.
We have installed latest Magento version and have copied categories, products, CMS block, static pages and all other data from client live site to new Magento installation. We have also uploaded product images.
Our developers have created robots file creation and have installed the following extensions:
- Testimonials module for Magento
- Magento Easy Tabs Community Module
- Google Content API for Shopping
- Google Website Optimizer Integration
Alongside we have worked on various sections like products, customers, order imports etc. We have worked on the Google Merchant section as well to give this project the desired strature it needed.
