The client approached SynapseIndia with a requirement of developing a BlackBerry application along with a website. The idea was that the website would allow the advertisers to post their ads on it and the BlackBerry users can view those ads through a background app on their handsets.
The website, CellAdv.com, has been designed at our end. We have used some vibrant colors like red and purple and to give it a subtle look we have used a bit of gray as well. The logo was also been designed by our designers. The homepage proffers a banner sliders/image rotator and that has been developed using jQuery. The first set of PSDs of the home page and inside page got approved almost instantly without much rework. We have converted the home and inside page templates in to HTML (div based) and shared with developer for further development process.
We have developed the functionality for the advertisers/affiliates/device and partner users to register/login using their credentials provided by the site admin. After logging-in each user can be able to add an amount or fund in his/her account. An advertiser can add campaigns and upload the advertisement if he/she has sufficient funds available.
Advertisers can also manage the campaigns using the “My Account” section that they can find in their panels. Advertiser can also edit their basic information with password in “My Account” section. Affiliate users are also bestowed upon with similar accessibilities. IM functionality has been implemented to be used by visitors, advertisers and affiliate users. The admin of the site can view a listing of the register advertiser and affiliate users. Being a CMS, the admin also enjoys the ability to manage the content of the site.
