The client told us to design and develop a website for him where he can demonstrate various products of "Allegro" brand.
Allegro Compression Hosiery was started in 1999 by BrightLife Direct, Inc. as their private label brand. The client wanted to have a website for his business where he can tell his customers about products from the Allegro company and suggest them the places from where they can buy them.
To start with, we have decided to design the home page and an inside page template. Allegro compression hosiery is the theme of the range of products that the client wanted to show on the website. Accordingly, we have tried to design the website using few of the product images along with their descriptions. A balanced proportion of text and graphics has been used to help the audience to have a smooth viewing experience. The idea was to provide as much data as possible on the home page, without overdoing it; while being a product based website, the home page demands product images too.
The next step was about concentrating on development. Functionality addition & enhancement was our prime motto in this case. Product category and subcategory have been developed to help the admin segregate the items properly to be projected on the website. Apart from the Product page, various static pages were developed like "Wear & Care", "Where to Buy" "Wholesale Information", 'About Us" etc. The "Where to Buy" fetches data from www.brightlifedirect.com.
The admin of the site can log in from the backend of the site using his credentials to manage (view/add/edit/delete) products, product categories, and product details. The information available on the static pages can also be managed by the admin from his panel.
