Client Brief

The client wanted us to do enhancements regarding costume changes & layout, on his exiting website that offers coupons, deals and discounts on the products to buy.

Our Endeavor

The website design was enhanced by making use of PHP, Mysql and Smarty Template Engine. This site is a platform for online coupons and deals for the users to purchase articles at a discounted rate from the listed merchants. The admin can upload offers, coupons etc. from the control dashboard.

• Added the feature 'dealfinder', allowing users to get the best deals
• The template of the website has been changed.

• Automation of Top Sales, Popular Deals, Coupons
• View store wise deals/coupons
• Added "Load More" feature
• Integrated a widget to set Amazon & Google Ads on the website
• Set expired deals at the end of page of store’s deal
• Pushstate feature for calling the data via AJAX method

We have implemented an algorithm to mark a deal as a featured deal, popular deal and or hot deal based on the views and claims. We have also implemented a point system and a reward program based on certain defined activities like sharing a deal etc. Points are rewarded to the users and users can redeem the points against free gifts and coupons.

In addition, we have worked on URL rewriting, page title and Meta tag implementation for better Search Engine rankings. We have deployed the website on cloud environment for fetching static contents like images, CSS, JavaScript from CDN for better page load speed.
