PHP Website for 'mylifetoo' – Social Networking Platform

Client Brief

The client wanted us to design & develop a social networking website that would allow users to enjoy a platform to connect and share.

Our Endeavor

 The website has been designed and developed at our end from the scratch. On the designing front, apart from the home page and inside page template; we have also designed the logo for the site. The designs were kept according to the mood of the site. Our designers have also suggested vector art for the home page as theme reorganization.

While on the development side, we have developed the website using technologies like PHP, MySQL, jQuery, Facebook API and Google map. Apart from the registration formalities available on the site, users can also register with the site using their Facebook login credentials. This would also facilitate them to fetch the details from their Facebook profiles. 

Additional features and functionalities of the site are as follows:

  • Lifestyle
  • Pets

There are several categories available on the site. Upon selecting any category users would be able to view the sub categories under the selected category. Each category/sub-category comes with a set of questions with pre-suggested answers against them. Users need to select the answers according to their personal preferences and they would be facilitated with the associated marks attached to them.

The website also displays the best matches one can have depending upon the based on their inputs on profile page as well as the points they have acquired while answering those questions. There is a predefined point range the website uses while suggesting users their matches. 

There is an admin panel available for the site only accessible by the admin of the site. The administrator can manage (view/disable/enable) user’s profile and the content of the static informative pages. The feedback posted by the users are also attended by the admin of the site. Overall we have delivered the client a fully-functional social networking site that help them enjoying a stunning virtual life.
