Client wanted us to develop an event promotional website with social networking features. He wanted possess a common platform where all the brands can come together and connect to their audiences and admirers. People get a platform where they can connect with their favorite brands. The website will also offer latest info about any movie launch, concert or any other occasion.
The Gorilla Undergrounds motto is to provide a common platform where all the brand can engage with people. Brands come to website and upload their videos. People can watch these videos, if they like them, they can do social activities like casting vote, add to favorite, share, messages, comments, recommendation and search. People watch the brand video and give votes to that brand. Once a brand gets the minimum votes required, it can get connected to their audiences. They can offer an invitation to an event or concert organized by the brands. Engagement venue, date and time would be finalized. On the day, LIVE streaming video of the event would be display on the website. People can watch the live streaming video and can do the social activities accordingly.
The system is about event or brand promotion. We have developed an application where brand and audience can share a single platform. Brands do promotion in three levels. On completion of each level, the next level comes. Brands start with creating an account and uploading a pitch video. Pitch video goes to admin for approval and to set the minimum votes required with time limit. As soon as admin approve the pitch video, it started displaying to users.
Users can see the brands video only after joining the site. They can watch & vote on the pitch video. If a pitch gets minimum votes in a specified time, the brand enters into second level. Now the brand can engage with the people and can create an engagement. Brand will decide the date and time of the engagement and upload an engagement video. People can watch the engagement video and do social activities. On the day of scheduled engagement brand go live. A live streaming will be created and display in the respective brand live page. People can watch the live video and can perform the social activities.
All three levels have their own significance and respective pages so that people don't get confuse. Joining process is quite easy and user friendly. People have to fill very simple form and can create an account. Users have the ability to change their accounts settings, profile picture and alerts messages. User can change the background image of their personal pages. User can select the background image from the predefined images. The selected image will be set as background image of the user's personal pages and remain until the user changes it. Users have the ability to deactivate their account forever.
Users can share private messages, invite friends, add/delete friends. They can comment on the common board shared among all users. Audiences can even search a brand or a user to see the profile details of them. Users can recommend a brand to admin to engage with in future.
The admin of the site have the complete control on the website. He can manage users, brand, video etc. through the admin panel. The admin have all the rights to add/edit/delete the content on the website. Admin monitors the different levels and analyze the users’ feedback on the videos.
Brands have their own panel and can create the credentials to log-in by their own. A brand owner can log-in and do different activities as per his/her rights. A brand can analyze the votes and filter the votes by age, sex, location, race etc. A brand creates an engagement that goes for admin approval. Briefly a brand can interact with system through brand panel and each and every activity goes for admin approval.
