Client Brief:
Sampatti.com was given to us by Sampatti.com Limited to design from scratch. They were committed to becoming India's first comprehensive information centre for all real estate related activities, services and products revolutionising the way real estate is dealt in India and promoting a transparent approach in this field. We were told that the website should have something to offer to everyone ... first timers, professionals, real estate advisors and brokers, house hunters, landlords, owners, developers and builders. We were told that it should be a website which would list all possible construction materials, a website where manufacturers could maintain a comprehensive list of all services & dealers. We were further directed that the website should be techno-savvy.
Our Endeavor:
We developed www.sampatti.com as India's premier real estate portal. It has been completely designed, developed, hosted & maintained by SynapseIndia. We had to make extensive use of Java, JSP, Servlets, Beans and JDBC on the programming side, with MySQL as the backend database. We used iPIX technology to offer visitors a panoramic view of the various properties registered on our site. We have the largest real estate database in the country. We used a special Interactive Interior Designer which users of the website could use to design the interiors of their houses. Besides the standard sections for sale, purchase & leasing of property, we also have special sections on housing finance, real estate insurance, a special section on tax including real estate laws and income tax laws. We have another special section dealing with Feng Shui and Vaastu Shastra. We have a special section where users can calculate their monthly EMI, loan amortisation, stamp duty, and insurance. There are links to various construction related sites.

I was really impressed with what I received from SynapseIndia Private Limited for my sampatti.com project. They not only completed the project ahead of time, they also incorporated many features, which we had not thought of into it, like a special Feng Shui/ Vaastu Shastra section. They have taken a lot of care over it, including making the product secure.
When we wanted the site to have snapshots of the real estate sites, they went further and created a full 360 degree view using iPIX - a technology I had not even heard of. The SynapseIndia team even created a special interior designing software exclusively for my site, which visitors to the site can use to design their houses. They even created a section dealing with all aspects of real estate finance, including loan amortisation and insurance.
They developed the entire database for us - very satisfactorily. It is today India's biggest real estate database. I really could not have asked for a better job. Today, they host and maintain the site for us and I do not have the slightest regrets.
