Design and Development an Online Store - Augusta Precious Metals

Client wanted us to design his website with the fresh look and feel using some attractive colors eg: light blue golden etc. We have initially received some references to review but client instructed us not to use any similar design element. Our designers have designed the website with creative elements and have converted those to HTML and shared with the development team for further development work.

 

The developers have integrated dynamic slider plugin in the website which helped the client to add slides based on the requirement which reflects on the home page of the website. We have used Woocommerce shopping cart plugin for product module in which client can add/edit/delete products with categories. The Featured product section on the product listing page has been integrated which can be managed through Woocommerce plugin. There is payment gateway available as users will save their orders and after login, they can checkout their order and an email containing the order details will be sent to the admin.

 

The main aspect of the website is to update the price of precious metals on the website through spot gold and silver price which we have achieved using Woocommerce plugin purchased by the client. We have also facilitated displaying spot price of gold and silver with up and down price based on the calculation of the percentage of ups and down in their current prices. We have also integrated the XML chart data into the website which shows the corresponding graphs of Gold and Silver price of metals for up to a Week, 30 days, 90 days, 1 year and the past 5 years.

 

Further, the client wanted few adjustments in the project. Client required that the users are able to view the "precious metals graph" by week, month or year.  He required a contact us form where any user can contact to admin. Our team did following:
