A Shopify Powered Online Store for Selling Fashion Accessories

Client Brief

The client wanted us to create a custom theme and application for Shopify that includes a unique membership feature for their online store. The goal was to enhance the shopping experience by offering exclusive membership benefits and an easy-to-manage backend for the admin.

Our Endeavor

The project involved developing an online fashion accessories store using Shopify, an e-commerce platform that allows businesses to set up and manage their online presence efficiently. We built a Shopify-based theme along with a custom application that introduced multiple new functionalities not available by default on Shopify.

Customers can log in or register using their Facebook credentials, making the onboarding process simple and quick. Each product displays two types of prices, that is Member Price and Original Price, helping customers see the benefits of membership instantly. The application also allows videos, colors, categories, and subcategories to be added directly to the product from the app interface.

To make shopping more convenient, we implemented a flexible product search feature that works by text, price, color, and category. The “Sneak Peak” feature gives users a one-hour trial period at membership pricing, after which a membership activation request is automatically sent to them.

The admin panel was customized to handle various management tasks such as membership price setup, member management, payment gateway integration, recurring payments for memberships, membership cancellation, and more. Additionally, registered members can access products at discounted membership prices and make purchases based on updated pricing details, providing a smooth shopping experience and easy control for both users and the admin.
