Client Brief

Wisdom Times approached us with an existing WordPress-based website and wanted to enhance its overall functionality and improve the user experience. The goal was to make the site more interactive, visually appealing, and easier to manage from the backend. The platform focuses on self-improvement and personal development, offering valuable content to users across different categories. The client wanted a smooth process for users to register, subscribe, and access paid learning materials. Additionally, they sought improvements in site performance and better management of media files. Our task was to work on these areas while keeping the existing website structure intact and maintaining the original content flow.

Our Endeavor

Wisdom Times is a self-improvement and personal development platform developed on WordPress with a well-structured backend for content management. Our team worked on refining the website’s design and layout to make it look more professional and organized while keeping the overall theme consistent. The main focus was to enhance the user experience by creating a more engaging and easy-to-navigate interface.

We introduced a complete user registration and subscription system, allowing visitors to sign up and subscribe for paid learning videos. This feature was integrated through an LMS setup that makes managing courses and subscriptions simple for both users and administrators. The registration process was made intuitive to encourage more user participation and engagement.

To manage subscriptions effectively, we configured the “MemberPress plugin,” which handles all membership and payment-related functions. This integration made it easier for the client to manage user access, control premium content, and monitor subscription activity directly from the backend.

For community engagement, we added a forum section by integrating “Simple Forum,” allowing users to connect, share thoughts, and discuss personal development topics. This feature added an interactive layer to the site and created a sense of community among users interested in similar goals and subjects.

Since the platform includes a large collection of videos and other heavy files, we installed and configured “S3 Media” to manage uploads efficiently through Amazon’s servers. This improved the website’s loading speed and storage management. Additionally, we configured “LearnDash” for the LMS system, helping the client manage courses, lessons, and quizzes with ease.

With all these enhancements, the Wisdom Times website became more structured, user-friendly, and professional. The combination of new features, organized design, and improved backend control helped the client deliver a better experience to their users while maintaining smooth management of the platform.
