Gravity forms Plugin Modification for Video Professionals Website

Client Brief

The client approached us for modification in Gravity forms Plugin in his existing video professionals community website.

Our Endeavor

Videospeedio is basically a community website for video professionals like video editors, filmmakers, cameramen etc.

To help the admin in managing a few functionalities of the site, we have modified the Gravity Form Plugin that comes for WordPress based websites. The plugin offers a few options like classes, functions, hooks and shortcodes for creating and sending multiple notifications. Alongside, we have also developed a functionality for the website admin to “Approve” and/or “Refuse” the pitch (videos or content) that users would post.

Our endeavors have enabled the admin to approve a user posted pitch, which will be displayed on the front end section. While admin can also reject a pitch and that will be not be updated at the front-end.

In the former case, the newly created notification is triggered to email ID’s of customers as well as the admin of the site, along with the pitch data/content; while on the latter case, only the newly created notifications are triggered to the users and the admin.
