Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is a government organization that promotes public health and safety through regulation, education, and training. It offers a variety of online courses to enhance the knowledge and skills of professionals in the food and drug sectors. The client approached us to set up a new learning management system (LMS) that would make online training easier to handle.
The client asked us to set up a new LMS using Moodle 5 on their website. Their main requirement was to move all data from their old system into the new LMS safely. They also wanted the LMS to allow users to upload their job description (JD) and CV during profile creation, and to include an approval process for the admin and supervisor.
We developed the LMS on their website using Moodle 5 and customized it as per their needs. Our team helped the client import user details and course progress in bulk from their old system using CSV files. We also set up the LMS to automatically enroll employees in the right courses based on their department and job level.
To make management easier, we added custom reports that show user progress, course completion rates, and missing information. We also created an approval panel for JD and CV uploads and added settings to track course completion and check who qualifies for a certificate. After completing a course, users automatically receive a certificate designed as per the client’s format.
With this LMS, our client can now handle all training, data, and reports directly on their website with less manual effort.
