Client Brief

Resilience RCRC offers digital education and training programs, with a strong focus on academic sustainability, quality, and innovation. Their services integrate technology into learning, supporting fields like mental health, psychology, and social sciences through collaborative and accessible online courses. The client approached us to build a Moodle plugin on their website to help track student activities, specifically for practicum assignments in their courses.

Our Endeavor

The client wanted a Moodle plugin to help manage student practicum activities on their website. The goal was to let students log their work, supervisors review and approve it, and administrators monitor overall progress.

We developed the plugin using Moodle, PHP, and MySQL. It allows students to record their practicum tasks by entering details like the activity type, date, time, duration, description, location, client type, and even upload attachments. Supervisors can then go through these submissions, give feedback, and either approve or reject them.

Administrators have access to settings where they can define activity types, set required practicum hours, and generate reports for all users. The plugin is fully integrated with Moodle’s existing system, using its current user data to keep everything consistent and avoid duplicate work.

This solution has made it much easier for the client to track student work, ensure proper supervision, and manage the entire practicum process more efficiently.
