Development of an Augmented Reality Android App - Interior Design Industry

Client Brief

Euphoria is a leading home styling brand that offers a wide array of designer selected home furnishing products. The client approached us with a requirement to develop an e-commerce based Augmented Reality (AR) Android mobile app for his existing furniture business.

Our Endeavor

The challenge for our Android app development team was to integrate the Augmented Reality engine with the 3D Model Viewer. We developed the mobile app and included the following cutting-edge features: product listing, 3D room view, 3D furniture view, product description, add a cart, wish list etc. The “Euphoria' app allows the user to view a room in a 3D manner and select the furniture product matching the ambience. The customer can rotate the furniture and put it anywhere in the room. The chosen furniture product can be added to the cart and the payment can be easily done.

Our dedicated Android developers used PLY, STL, and .OBJ files to accomplish this Android app creation project.
