The client wanted us to develop a document processing website that would suggest the critical medical terms. He wanted us to customize the Pingar API.
Our Endeavor
We have used the Pingar API to review medical records. Medical Records can be very challenging because of medical terminology and obscure terms not found in the American Dictionary but found in Medical Dictionaries. Much of the documents are recreations of an accident that occurred where a person was injured often times very severely.
Our developers have created a simple web page by customizing the API and have added a text box. In this text box, users can copy and paste content from any document and can choose the entities (People, Organizations, Locations, Addresses, Phone numbers (NZ), Email addresses etc.) which needed to be filtered.
The main global components we have added in the UI are:
Selecting one or more Pingar Functions to use against one or more documents that can be pushed out to the API.
Selecting one or more documents from the local hard drive of the computer and or cutting and pasting short contents into a text box to push out to the API.
Having a return window to review the output of the API call.
Being able to save the return window into a word document on your computer.
