Website for Consumer 'Singa Guru' Using PHP – Classified Posting

Singa Guru is a classified ads site where users can buy, sell and find or trade anything for free. The GUI design was developed by referring to competitor websites choosing color scheme that fits Singapore's culture as the website's target group belongs to Singapore. The navigation was created in order to allow easy accessibility to various classified as well as to make extensive search an easy breather.

 

We have analyzed the client requirements together with reference websites and accordingly decided the user interactivity to be developed. Various features of the website were developed using  PHP, CakePHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Google Map API  for developing website. We have created multi-step wizard for posting classifieds. Users can choose a category depending upon their requirements, enter details of the classified and choose the location on the map before submitting a classified. Users can search classifieds and mark their ad as urgent or promote it on home page banner.
 
The website admin section offers administrator capabilities to manage users, classified categories, pricing plan, posted advertisements.
