PHP Website for Healthcare 'Hospital Insider' –Listing & Review

Client Brief

Client approached SynapseIndia with a requirement designing and developing a review website allowing healthcare professionals to search for institutions, view institution listings, view institution details with review and ratings. Healthcare professionals would be able to enter their email address, password, and post their review/rating on institutions and after admin approval, the review and rating would be displayed on the website.

Our Endeavor

We have designed the web site for healthcare professionals based on proposal and instructions provided by client. Client wanted us to design a fresh/clean look design using green, light blue, orange and gray colors. We have also designed the logo design using the name of "Hospital insider" matching with website colors. We have designed only two pages (one home and inside page template) and after getting the confirmation from client we have converted these pages in to HTML (div based) and shared with the developer for further process.

The project is based on the concept that healthcare professionals can search for institutions and post their review/rating on institutions. Users can view institutions ratings and reviews posted by Healthcare professionals. We have designed and integrated site by referring to the design. We have integrated the design of the site with CakePHP framework. In this project we have created the user sign in panel. Using this sign-in panel, healthcare professionals will be able to enter their email address, password, and post their review/rating on institutions and after admin approval, the review and rating would be displayed on the website.

We have created Admin-Panel by which Admin can retrieve forgot password, change password, manage Healthcare professionals who have registered with the site, add/manage institutions, approve/disapprove/edit/delete reviews and ratings, manage content of static pages like about us, contact us, home page. Users can view institutions ratings and reviews posted by Healthcare professionals, they can view about us page and contact admin by filling a contact us form.

Healthcare professionals would be able to register with the website by entering the following details:
- User Name
- Email Address
- Password

Healthcare professionals would be able to login by entering a valid username and password.

Healthcare professionals would be able to search for institutions by name and location/state and view list of institutions in each state. On clicking on a name of any institution the details of that institution would be displayed.

Registered Healthcare professionals would be able to post a review for an institution. The ratings would not be displayed directly, instead an email would be sent to the admin. The admin would need to verify to have a review/comment displayed on the website.
