Development of an App for Android Stick - D1700 Wireless Interface Protocol

Client Brief

Microframe is a leading manufacturer and supplier of visual-pager system parts and accessories. The client approached us with a requirement to create an app for Android stick that can be used to automatically show advertisement images on various visual displays.

Our Endeavor

This is the first time we had worked with the FTDI chipset and configured remotely. Without attaching any input device, our Xamarin app development team had to process all the data within the system by detecting connection/disconnection of the configured media device/FTDI device.

We wrote a compatible code for the client's device and successfully installed in Android Stick. The whole set-up was used for providing visual input to change advertisement slide sequences.

This app, D1700 Wireless Interface Protocol, has helped the client to automatically show advertisements on multiple devices without needing any manual operation.
