Microframe specializes in the manufacturing and supplying of visual-pager systems parts and accessories. The client approached us with a requirement to develop a cross-platform app for iOS and Android that can control Wi-Fi displays.
We developed the app “WiFi Visual Pager” as per the requirement shared by the client. This mobile app communicates with all the LED displays that are enlisted in the display list via a web socket. The user can change the setting of the displays by tapping on various codes present on the interface of the app.
The challenge that our skilled Xamarin app developers faced was to ensure that the socket connection works fine even when the app is used for controlling multiple LED displays. However, we were provided with only one LED display and the app worked consistently fine throughout the testing phase. The client was satisfied with the developed Xamarin app and he decided to push it live on iOS and Android stores.
In sum, we successfully accomplished this Xamarin app development project by utilizing Socket layer programming.
