Development of a Cross-Platform App for Consumer Electronics Industry

Client Brief

Microframe is a leading manufacturer and supplier of LED displays. The client wanted us to create a mobile app for iOS and Android to control a LED device.

Our Endeavor

We created the cross-platform app, Stoplight, as per the client's requirement. To use this app, the user and the LED device should be on the same network. The LED display has 3 different color lights (Red, Green, and Blue) and the mobile application works as a remote control for controlling the behavior of this display.

The challenge for our Xamarin app development team was to work remotely on the client's server to test data/command transfer between the application and the display (the LED device was not physically present with us).

Our dedicated Xamarin developers used Socket Layer programming to communicate between the app and the device. Finally, we successfully delivered the mobile hybrid app to the client.
