The client approached us to develop a multiplayer archery game that runs directly in web browsers without requiring any downloads. They wanted the game to deliver a fun and immersive WebVR experience that would be easy to access and enjoyable for players of all ages.
Our team built a browser-based VR archery game using Unity, WebXR API, Photon Fusion, and C#. The game works on modern browsers that support VR, enabling players to engage in archery gameplay with interactive targets, scoring boards, and responsive VR controls.
One of the main challenges was ensuring smooth performance across various devices and browsers. We worked on optimizing assets, refining input handling, and maintaining low latency for a smooth multiplayer experience.
The final product was a fully functional WebVR multiplayer game that required no installation. Its browser-based deployment helped the client tap into the expanding WebXR gaming market and made the experience more accessible to players.
