Protein4Life was sitting on a growing catalog of supplements, proteins, vitamins, and wellness products with no platform underneath it that could keep up. Customers were having to work harder than they should to find what they came for, and the backend was not making life easy for the team managing it either.
We migrated their existing WordPress-based website to Shopify, carrying over the products and content without losing what was already there, and built a store around how fitness shoppers actually browse. We left behind something the business could grow into rather than out of.

Selling supplements online sounds simple until the product range starts covering protein powders, amino acids, vitamins, weight management products, and wellness essentials across dozens of brands and SKUs. At that point the platform either works hard for the customer or quietly works against them.
Fitness enthusiasts, athletes, and health focused buyers who know roughly what they want and expect to find it without unnecessary friction.
Stocking recognized supplement brands across multiple categories means the range is genuinely useful. But usefulness only lands if the store is organized well enough to surface the right product to the right person at the right moment in their browsing journey.
The priorities were agreed on before any work started:
Protein4Life was running on WordPress, and the cracks were starting to show. A growing supplement catalog, increasing traffic, and the need for faster store management had pushed the existing setup beyond what it could comfortably handle. The decision to migrate to Shopify was the right one — but migration itself came with a set of challenges that needed to be addressed head on before the store could perform the way it should.
Moving from WordPress to Shopify is not a simple platform switch. Every layer of the old setup had to be carefully handled — from product data and customer records to URLs, design, make sure nothing was lost and nothing broke in the process.
The build was planned around two things equally: the person shopping and the person running the store. Getting one right while neglecting the other tends to create a different problem down the line.
Built from scratch around what Protein4Life actually sells and who actually buys it, rather than adapting a generic setup and hoping it fits well enough.
Protein4Life came into the project knowing what their customers expected and what the business needed operationally. That combination made the collaboration genuinely productive from the start.
Decisions moved quickly because both sides stayed aligned on what the store needed to do rather than getting caught up in details that did not affect outcomes. Feedback was specific and useful, which meant iterations were targeted rather than speculative. The whole process stayed clean from the initial brief right through to launch.
