CakePHP Website Maintenance for Entertainment Industry, USA - Inmate Mingle

Client Brief

Inmate Mingle is a dating website that lists profiles of prisoners serving sentences in the USA. People can search for prisoners through the website and write letters to them. The scope of the project was to upgrade CakePHP version, website redesign, enhance features, create new functionalities and fix bugs.

Our Endeavor

Our experienced web designers redesigned the website to make it responsive, engaging and attractive. We upgraded the CakePHP version 5.x to 7.x and then worked on the following functionalities:

• Search – Various filters were added allowing the user to search for a prisoner based on name, gender, location, crime, release year, race, etc.
• Bulk Letter Printing - We created an option allowing the admin to print letters in bulk.
• Profile View Counter – The number of views of a profile can be counted.
• Birthday – We created a new feature that shows the birthday of prisoners.
• Blog – We integrated the WordPress blog into the website.

Our CakePHP developers fixed various bugs that were present in the website. Music play was not working and we fixed it. We also fixed profile listing issues. Finally, the website loading speed was optimized. We delivered a secure, fast, responsive and fully-functional website to the client.
