Client Brief

The client approached us with the requirement of making specific enhancements to his Magento based website for selling of basketball training products.

Our Endeavor

Shotloc.com is a website that enables users to make the purchase of scientifically proven basketball training tools that consistently improves the player's shooting accuracy. The tools are available in different colors and sizes and so users can pick their preferred one. Also, players can upload their shooting video on the website to get relevant feedback for their shooting performance from experienced shooting coaches.

Working on the project, we made a custom plugin in Magento that allowed the users to purchase an item from store and after purchase, upload videos from the My Account section which uploads to Cloud files. Our team implemented the functionality to enable users to upload 3 videos at a time. We also implemented video upload progress bar that shows the percentage of the 3 videos that has been uploaded to Rackspace cloud server. Further, we have also modified validation for video upload.
