Client Brief

Rama World is an online store in the USA. They sell military patches, name tags, lanyards, keychains and other items to people across the country. Their old website had become slow and hard to manage, and it was not very safe anymore. So they asked us to upgrade their OpenCart store to a newer version without breaking anything that already worked.

Our Endeavor

Rama World wanted us to move their online store to a newer and safer version of the same platform, without breaking anything that already worked. The store had many small custom things set up over the years, so first we checked everything carefully before starting the work.

Our developer did the upgrade using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5 and CSS3. We moved the parts that were easy to move. The parts that were not easy, we built again from scratch so they work the same as before. Our tester checked every change, so nothing went live without testing it first. Our customer advocate stayed in touch with the client, making sure every decision matched the business.

The hardest part was old custom code that did not work with the new platform, so it was written again from zero. We worked with Rama World for over 4 years, helping them with the upgrade and other improvements. Now their store is faster, safer and easier to run, and customers enjoy a smooth shopping experience.
