A Social Networking Site for Music Lovers

Client Brief

The client asked to develop an application for music enthusiasts that would help them to share images, videos and music.

Our Endeavor

We have developed this application in YII framework and developed several widgets in YII framework for re-usability and to maintain from one place to get affected everywhere. The PSDs were been coded in responsive HTML that helped the website to be cross screen adaptive.

To help the users to share their favorite pages, we have integrated Facebook, Google Plus, Twitter and LinkedIn APIs. These APIs also help the users to sign up with the site. Our developers have also integrated complex functionalities by using AJAX to save the users clicking on multiple links. Used the Fancybox library to open the popups wherever required - instead of opening separate page enabling the users to view the content instantly.

The infinite scrolling feature has also been integrated to get the content very fast instead of normal pagination. Integrate the functionality to add YouTube videos by category and easily explore the deliverable by going through the categories. A messaging system was also been integrated allowing the users to send messages to their friends.

All the modules like add/edit and delete users, add,edit and delete channels developed for the frontend are manageable through the admin section.
