WordPress Development Nonprofit USA TransPerfect Mountain Challenge

Client Brief

TransPerfect Mountain Challenge is a charity event run by TransPerfect's Barcelona team to support AFANOC, a nonprofit that helps families of children fighting cancer. Every year, the event brings together runners, walkers, and supporters to raise money for the cause. Their old website had started running slow and was getting harder to manage, so they asked us to rebuild it on WordPress without changing how it looked to visitors.

Our Endeavor

TransPerfect Mountain Challenge wanted their website to be rebuilt from scratch while keeping the exact same look and branding, since their supporters were already used to it. So first we studied the existing site closely to understand the design before touching any code. Our developer rebuilt the site on WordPress using PHP, HTML and CSS, matching the design closely while fixing what was slowing things down underneath.

Our tester checked the site across devices and browsers, so nothing went live without testing. The team also worked on backend structure, security and page speed, along with small SEO improvements.

The hardest part was rebuilding the site to look the same while changing almost everything behind the scenes, which took more care than starting fresh. This project took close to two to three months, and we continue supporting the client as needed. Now their website is faster, safe and easier to manage, while supporters still see the site they already trust.
